Monthly Giving: Butterfly Society

Your monthly gift provides predictable, year-round revenue that enables our team to design, adapt, and deliver wrap-around supports that meet the unique needs of each woman and child staying with us at any given point in time.

Join Armagh’s Butterfly Society—a community of monthly donors helping to build the Mother Strong Fund.

By contributing to Armagh’s Mother Strong Fund, you provide the steady, adaptable funding that allows women and children to break free from violence and build a life of strength, safety, and hope.

Armagh helped me to change my life totally. In many domains. Financially, legally with my paper, even emotionally they help me get support for my kids. They give me value. After I lost confidence in myself, they give me chance to just keep going in this life. It’s like I was in a dark room and it was impossible to have power and the sun came back into my life. I’m really thankful for them for the support. They let me always feel like they are family and not just like shelter, they are very special. I feel like I’m so important person. I’m valued. They give you the value that you lost after your experience, the bad experience you faced.

Your gift can look like:

  • Creating a space that is already a home when they open the door – furnished and with little touches that let moms and kids alike know that there is care and love within the Armagh Community.

  • Art therapy sessions, homework assistance, social/emotional learning — focused programming that helps children heal from the effects of witnessing and experiencing violence in their homes, setting them on a better path forward.

  • Counselling, self-care and parenting workshops — learning opportunities for women to care for themselves, build their confidence and better support their families’ emotional health and well-being.

  • Life skills training, budgeting help, income assistance and follow-up support — learning essentials required to live on their own in a safe and sustainable way.

  • Joyful moments — simple curated or spontaneous events and happenings that create core memories for the future.

It can also look like introducing a martial arts program when we have a sudden cohort of 14 teens and pre-teens when in prior months there was focus on toddlers and preschoolers!

Your monthly gift provides comprehensive, tailored support that empowers women and children to transform their lives, allowing us to adapt and deliver essential services so they can plan their path forward with confidence and hope.
