Wondering How To Get Started?
Come up with your idea! This is the fun part – how do you want to raise money for Armagh?
Fill out and submit the Third Party Fundraising Application form and our Community Development worker will connect with you to chat about your event and/or campaign.
Have your activity! Have fun, take pics, and share online – show the community how much you care about Armagh by using the power of social media!
Report back – tell us how much money you raised.
We ask that all activities being held to support Armagh align with our mission, vision, values.
What is Day of Purple?
Day of Purple is Armagh’s third-party fundraiser run from July to September 30th, 2026! This is an opportunity for our old and new supporters to host fundraising events and/or campaigns with their connections and communities.
The goal of Day of Purple is:
Increase awareness of Armagh in the Peel Region.
Fundraise for Armagh through community initiatives.
Discuss Gender-Based Violence and the steps needed for change.
Use the community to build lives free of violence.
Armagh empowers women and children to rebuild safe and independent lives, while advancing community-focused solutions for lasting change.

How do I collect donations for Armagh?
This is the quickest and easiest way to collect donations for Armagh!
Individuals who donate online will receive a charitable tax receipt right away (if the donation is $20 or more).
Online Donations
Donors can also email money transfer donations to Armagh for Day of Purple.
For individuals wishing to use this method please send a message to donations@armaghhouse.ca
Receipts for EFTs take a few weeks to process.
Email Money Transfer
Use the Donor Tracking Sheet to record donor information so that Armagh can issue them a receipt.
Following the activity, submit the sheet and donations to Armagh no later than 14 days after your activity.

Definitely! We will post your activity on our website and social media platforms. Any additional promotion is up to the activity organizers.

If your activity has more than 10 people, we can send an Armagh representative to come in for a 5-minute informational session; please reach out to us if you are interested.

Yes, pending availability. Armagh will need to review and approve content and brand logo usage.

In acquiring insurance for an activity, it is the responsibility of the organizer to apply and obtain such documents in the name of the individual, organization, or business coordinating the activity. It is advisable that you seek guidance and direction from your own insurance broker on this matter.
