Resiliency Grant to Promote Long-Term Sustainability
Mississauga, ON – On Monday September 18th, local MPP Rudy Cuzzetto met with the staff and board members at Armagh’s Annual General Meeting to hear more about the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) grant the organization received. Armagh received a 2-year, $200,000 resiliency grant, which will go towards growing revenue streams and engagement. Most notably, this grant has helped Armagh to hire a Fundraising Consultant who will assist with promoting long term sustainability and increasing capacity to meet the needs in our community.
“This grant will help Armagh create long term sustainability as we continue to expand to meet the needs of families who need our services.” Said Jannies Le, Executive Director at Armagh. “As gender based and family violence continues to rise in the Region of Peel, Armagh must also continue to increase our capacity. Thank you to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for supporting our ability to do this work.”
Armagh is committed to providing women and their children with the best possible opportunity to overcome the devastating effects of abuse and rebuild their lives free from violence. If you would like to learn more about this organization, please visit www.armaghhouse.ca
